10 Things To Do in Budapest

One of the things I said to myself when I finished university and took on a full-time job was to continue travelling, especially into Europe as it would be easy access. However, after going to Budapest once, I really really want to go back for a second time. Continue reading “10 Things To Do in Budapest”

5 Quirky Reasons Why I Love London

I know a few people who don’t like visiting London for a number of reasons, mainly because of how over-crowded it can be and how fast-paced life is. However, I believe that they just haven’t found the right side of the city yet; it has so much to offer, and I can guarantee it has something for everyone. Segwaying around Blair Atholl

As part of a hen weekend away in Pitlochry, I finally got to do something I had always dreamed but never knew was accessible to general public folk like me. That thing was Segwaying. I don’t mean these little boards that spoiled rich kids on YouTube are scooting around on, no I mean the big chunky two-wheeled vehicles with handles for stability. And yes the ones that DON’T catch fire after a few uses *ahem*. Continue reading “Segwaying around Blair Atholl”

A Quick Guide to Cycling the Isle of Cumbrae

Last year I set myself a few summer goals, a few things I wanted to see and activities I wanted to do; and one of them was cycling around Cumbrae. The Island of Cumbrae might be better known for its only town – Millport. On a very windy but sunny May day, we did just that. I wanted to create this guide for anyone either thinking about going and hesitant of what to expect, or those who never even knew what a great day out Cumbrae could be. 7 Travel Post Ideas

I wouldn’t class myself as a travel blogger. I sit at my dining room table and write about my holidays, experiences abroad and weekend getaways – not to mention a few Glasgow days out guides and restaurant reviews. It’s my life and unique to me. Not many people can say they have been abandoned in a Cambodian Crocodile Farm or stuck at the Malaysian Border but  I have and that’s what makes me different from other bloggers out there. Where I’m Travelling To In 2016

It’s that time of the year again for us 9-5’ers to start meticulously planning our holidays out, given out circa 28 paid annual leave days. Jamie and I have agreed this year that we will try to keep our trips to small weekends away at a time, and try to save up for a big long-haul adventure next year.  Continue reading “Where I’m Travelling To In 2016”

Top 5 Things To Do In Cartagena

With family living in Murcia, we couldn’t say no to a little bus trip down to Cartagena (not to be confused with Colombia’s Cartagena – we are still on mainland Spain!). Cartagena is a small town located within the region of Murcia, and it is home to one of the most important trade and defensive ports in modern history. So let’s take a walk through some it’s most fun and interesting sights! (But be sure to keep in mind of that siesta time, as some places close early!). A Catamaran Trip to Espalmador

During our week long adventure on the beautiful island of Ibiza, we hired a Catamaran and headed off on a day trip around the equally (if not more) idyllic island of Espalmador.

Espalmador is a little piece of land just off the coast of Formentera, yet another stunning Balaeric Island. It doesnt have much on it other than pristine sands, but thats all you need when you have a Catamaran full of beer and Sangria, and a Captain lighting up the BBq, right? Visiting a Cat Cafe in Budapest

I always like to go out of my comfort zone when travelling. So what do you do when you have a few hours to spare before hitting the airport to go home? You go to a cat cafe of course! If you’re wondering what a cat cafe is, then it is exactly as it suggests…. a cafe where you go to have a coffee and a cake and relax…surrounded by cats. The Cutest Hostel In Budapest

So back in 2013, I finished all my university exams and decided before I went travelling around Asia with my boyfriend, that I would fly over to Budapest to meet up with a few girls I knew that were travelling through Europe (I would’ve went with them, but I wanted to graduate in person).
